I don't mind running outside in the crazy MN/IA winters. I layer lots of Under Armor, mittens, headbands and jackets. The ice is a different issue, that scares me because I don't really want to fall or get injured. I just watch every step I take and make sure I'm running more on streets than sidewalks! Hope the eye gets better, doesn’t look like fun!

I really want to run through the winter, but damn it's cold...I have some warm tights, but I do need to invest in some windbreaking items and a neck goiter thing that doesn't collect moisture when I breathe out and ice up...we shall see.
